Every day I’m strolling through our garden making photos and I’m not alone! Many different little visitors are making me happy, butterflies, snails or bugs. I don’t know all their names. The butterfly is called orange-tip-butterfly and came here very early in March visiting a chess flower and was sitting in the sun for a while because it was still a bit cold. I hope you enjoy these little fellows.
Beautiful images.
thanks a lot, regards Mtza
Gorgeous visitors! At least through your viewfinder… 🙂 Wonderful images.
Thanks for your comment which is much appreciated, regards Mitza
I seldom wear jewelry, but I could see a little pin like the ladybug on my shoulder! ;-> Very nice shots.
Virtual hugs,
Judie
Do you know these beautiful art nouveau brooches with dragonflies, Judie? That”s what I love. Everybody loves ladybugs, me too. Thanks for your approval and hugs which I want to return, Mitza
No – not familiar with new brooch style. I once had a silver filagree butterfly that I kept pinned to a Kelly green jumper. They were both lost in a move. 😦
I send you a link to look at the brooches I love. They are more than 100 years old. /www.google.de/search?q=libellen+im+jugendstil&tbm=isch&tbo=u&source=univ&sa=X&ei=Hm98U7buA_L74QStzIGoDQ&ved=0CC0QsAQ&biw=1413&bih=927
Sad that you lost your brooches in a move, hugs Mitza

Mitza, I just love your collection of insect close-ups. I, too, try to photography them but you got excellent results.
Ellen I’m glad you like my insect close-ups. Have a nice day, warmest regards Mitza
Really superb shots indeed! 🙂 Most people think that they need to travel far to see splendid things! Ha!
Thomas, I try to be “the Goddess of little things” in my garden. I see many small things that others don’t see and here I can show it to the world. That’ s a good feeling. Have a nice day. I always enjoy your posts, regards Mitza
Love the detail in these – inspiration for jewellery?
Thanks for liking my new blog. Maybe it can be inspiration for jewellery. Must make a big beetle then. Have a nice day, regards Mitza
Very beautiful set of flowers and bugs 🙂

Thanks for stopping by my blog and liking the flowers and bugs. I wish you a nice day, too. Regards Mitza
Oh Mitzia, you are such a sweet lady to bring us all these lovely images. See how busy are insect friends are and usually, all we see are the flowers. Thank you for helping us to see the tiny detail.
Karen
I was really moved by your kind words, Karen. I must actually admit that I’m a little afraid of some bigger insects but these I photographed are harmless. We should always try to see tiny details in life. Have a nice day, Karen, regards Mitza
Nice photos, and that Orangetip butterfly looks quite different than the ones we see here in the southwest US.
Thanks a lot for your comment. I guess that butterflies vary from one country/continent to the other. Strangely enough we had an invasion of Chinese lady bugs with much more dots than ours. Insects are very interesting in their manifold and diversity. Have a nice day, regards Mitza
I love your bugs. 🙂
Great capture.
thanks a lot for liking my bugs, have a nice day, regards Mitza
I hope you had a nice day as well…
xo

Beautiful images. You have a marvelous eye for detail. What kind of camera do you use for this extreme close-ups?
Thanks for your approving comment. I really think I have an eye for details. I use a very basic camera Sony Cybershot, with which you can go close up to 4 cm. I’m very content with this camera. Have a nice day, regards Mitza
