Little visitors in our garden

Every day I’m strolling through our garden making photos and I’m not alone! Many different little visitors are making me happy,  butterflies, snails or bugs. I don’t know all their names. The butterfly is called orange-tip-butterfly and came here very early in March visiting a chess flower and was sitting in the sun for a while because it was still a bit cold. I hope you enjoy these little fellows.

      • No – not familiar with new brooch style. I once had a silver filagree butterfly that I kept pinned to a Kelly green jumper. They were both lost in a move. 😦

  9. Oh Mitzia, you are such a sweet lady to bring us all these lovely images. See how busy are insect friends are and usually, all we see are the flowers. Thank you for helping us to see the tiny detail.

    • I was really moved by your kind words, Karen. I must actually admit that I’m a little afraid of some bigger insects but these I photographed are harmless. We should always try to see tiny details in life. Have a nice day, Karen, regards Mitza

    • Thanks a lot for your comment. I guess that butterflies vary from one country/continent to the other. Strangely enough we had an invasion of Chinese lady bugs with much more dots than ours. Insects are very interesting in their manifold and diversity. Have a nice day, regards Mitza

    • Thanks for your approving comment. I really think I have an eye for details. I use a very basic camera Sony Cybershot, with which you can go close up to 4 cm. I’m very content with this camera. Have a nice day, regards Mitza

    • yes, these little creatures are really cute and they used to be a lucky charm in jewellery many years ago, made in silver with enamel etc. Thanks for your nice comment, have a wonderful day, regards Mitza
