La vie en rose IV

Summer is over.

Where is the warmth of the sun,

where’s the honey on my lips,

where’s the scent of roses,

where are the twittering birds?

I would like to hide like that little spider on my photo in the petals of a rose and wait until spring comes.

Here are some last photos of roses from the summer in our garden before the winter comes. Enjoy…

  1. Fabulous images. I shoot mostly decaying or abandoned objects too. I find them fascinating. Thanks for sharing your beautiful pictures with the world! CJ

    • Hi CJ, thanks for looking into my blog. I just looked into yours and was really glad to find somebody in this world who likes about the same things like I do. Really beautiful pics. I’m looking forward to your coming photos. Regards Mitza

  2. Your post reminded me of a great poem by Rilke, “Herbsttag”:

    Befiel den letzten Früchten voll zu sein;
